Dinner tonight

Steve has gone off to a baseball game.  I’m not a big baseball fan.  I’m having dinner in the hotel.  I’m glad.  It’s quiet and nice to not have to be anywhere.  Just us girls.

It was the perfect day today.  We drove up to Encinitas.  We took the 101 scenic highway and the view is just beautiful.  Along the way we stopped to shop here and there.  We found a Trader Joe’s and Henry’s.  Both have a nice selection of gluten free food.

For dinner tonight, I made a bowl of cucumbers, feta and artichoke hearts.

Also, a grilled cheese, chips and some fruit

This time, the bread was gluten free!

I found a treat at Trader Joe’s.  Gluten Free frozen peanut butter cookie dough.

Six of them fit perfectly on the tray that came with the toaster oven.

They were pretty good!

  • Whoo hoo! Gluten free peanut butter cookie dough!! Thanks for sharing the news :) I’ll have to stop by our Trader Joe’s and see if they are carrying them. Perfect for the lazy baker (aka – me!).

  • mmm grilled cheese has been a summer favorite of mine! Kinnikinnick is great and I also love it with Glutino corn bread. :-) Can’t wait to try that gluten free peanut butter cookie dough! yum!
